Summer of Kenec-tions

On August 15, 2026, KENEC hosted their End of Summer Event in which they had fun activities and raffles to conclude their summer of KENEC-tion and fundraiser with Fox Valley Special Recreation Association.
They ended up raising $2,500+ for FVSRA [Fox Valley Special Recreation Association, Aurora, IL 60506] and had partnerships with the following businesses for their raffles:
Trader Joe’s,
Learning Express Naperville,
C2 Education Naperville,
Nothing Bundt Cakes,
Oberweis Dairy, and
Tamales Company
The partnerships were coordinated by the KENEC President, Aviya Pinto, and the summer was made possible by the efforts of the whole board, including Sarah Thomas, Sanjana Ramesh, and Sophia Contreras!
It was a summer well-done connecting 41 volunteers with 20 families!
